Fnaf World Pulled
In FNAF 1, in the drawer on the bottom left under the drink cups. In FNAF 1, under the cupcake. In FNAF 1, will appear in the monitor on the right a little after 3AM. In FNAF 2, between the monitor and the camera control. In Flat Mode, this token can be found on the floor to the left of the Freddy Head. Five Nights at Freddy’s World has been pulled from Steam by developer Scott Cawthon, who made the announcement today. The game saw some backlash after its release came as a surprise to many fans who thought it might have been rushed due to missing features.
If you haven't been following the story, Five Nights at Freddy's themed RPG FNaF World showed up on Steam a full month before its official release date in a rather unfinished state which resulted in so many complaints Scott Cawthon, the creator of the FNaF franchise, went on to publicly apologize for it.
And Scott, being the stand up guy that he is, simply couldn't continue selling FNaF World amidst so many complaints so he has pulled the game from Steam and offered full refunds to everyone, regardless of time played. Here's the announcement message:
'Hi everyone, I wanted to make a post about the fate of FNaF World. Even though the game had a 'Very Positive' rating with 87%, I was not satisfied with the reviews and ratings it was getting.
For that reason, I've decided to remove the game from Steam.I've also asked Valve to make it so that the game can be refunded regardless of the amount of the time it has been owned, meaning that anyone can get a refund at any time. It may take them a while to set that up, but it will be in place soon.
I'm still going to work on FNaF World and polish it up. I'm busy creating a fully 3D overworld for the game. When I'm ready to update the game, I will replace the demo currently on GameJolt with the full game. From this point forward, the game will always be free.
Fnaf World Download
I appreciate your support, and I encourage you all to refund your Steam game (even if you enjoyed the game), and download the new version when it becomes available on GameJolt. :)'
Fnaf World Pulled From Steam
I still find his decision to release the game a full month early and in such a poor state a highly questionable one but its still very commendable to see him man up to his mistakes and offer refunds to everyone affected while continuing to work on the game.
Hopefully next time FNaF World shows up in the spotlight it won't be because of its errors or missing features but rather because its a genuinely good game worthy of people's attention.
